The warning for the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra, Portalegre, and Braga will last until 10am on Friday due to the persistence of low minimum temperatures.

Bragança and Guarda (-5 degrees Celsius), Viseu and Vila Real (-3), and Braga (-1) are the districts with negative minimum temperatures.

The minimum temperatures on the continent will fluctuate today between -5 (in Guarda and Bragança) and 5 (in Faro and Lisbon) and the maximum between 4 (in Guarda) and 16 (in Faro).

The IPMA also issued an orange warning for the western group of the Azores (Corvo and Flores) due to maritime unrest, starting at 09:00 today and until 00:00 on Thursday.

The western group is also under a yellow warning until 12:00 today due to strong wind.

The IPMA also issued a yellow warning of sea unrest between 12:00 pm today and 6:00 am on Thursday for the central group (Graciosa, Faial, Pico, São Jorge, and Terceira) of the Azores.
