Piers writes: “The programmes I'm thinking of for March are both rather Romantic: to recognise the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Rachmaninov (born near Novgorod on April 1st 1873, died in Beverly Hills on March 28, 1943).”

On March 21st he will play several Preludes and the Variations by Sergey Rachmaninov followed by 12 pieces by Frederic Chopin.

On March 23rd he will play GRIEG’s Holberg Suite and Variations by Piotr Tchaikovsky, John Field and Alexander Glazunov.

All concerts will take place in the Auditorium of OS AGOSTOS near Santa Bárbara de Nexe. Doors will open at 6.00pm and the concert will begin at 7.00pm!

There will be wine, fruit juices and canapés available for self-service.
