The last municipal vaccination centre against Covid-19 operating in Lisbon was installed in the Hindu Community of Portugal and closed last Friday, March 24, indicated the council, according to information available on its website.

Of the 10 centres made available by the municipality of Lisbon over the 25 months of the vaccination campaign against covid-19, which started in February 2021, the space in the Hindu Community of Portugal was the one that recorded the highest number of inoculations, with a total of 417,594 vaccines administered.

“Over two years, 1,480,388 vaccines were administered in 10 mass vaccination centres”, said the Lisbon City Council (CML).

The municipality of Lisbon made the first vaccination centres available against covid-19 in February 2021, with the opening of five spaces, as part of the “largest mass vaccination campaign in human history”.
