Minister of the Presidency, Mariana Vieira da Silva, announced the decree-law that determines the end of the mandatory use of masks in health establishments and services, which had been imposed following the covid-19 pandemic.

The minister added that it is also no longer mandatory to use a mask in residential structures, reception, or home support services for vulnerable populations, elderly people or people with disabilities.

The same happens in the units of the national network of continuous care, where the mandatory use of the mask still existed.
