At 9:30pm on the 12th, Canadian Troy Nahumko takes the stage with Spanish bassist Elias Martinez Gomez, where they’ll invite some of the host’s associated musicians to have a night of sharing stories and friendships, a defining characteristic of the genre. To close out the night is Gringo’s Washboard Band, a Brazillian-Portuguese quintet, whose style reflects New Orleans.

On the 13th the stage belongs to the Catalan band Wax & Boogie, whose 50’s Rhythm & Blues promise to be lively. Before that though is the duo Hearts & Bones at 9:30pm, who’ll take us to the most intimate forms of Blues, defined by their acoustic guitars. On that same day, at 3pm, there’ll be a workshop directed to all musicians who may be interested at the Gimnásio Clube de Faro, taught by Troy Nahumko.

Over the whole weekend there’ll also be an art exhibition at the Teatro Lethes called “Live on Canvas” where the painter, Margarida Freire, will present paintings of musicians in the Blues sphere.

Tickets are now on sale at www.bol.pt and at the theatre’s ticket office, situated on 58 Rua de Portugal, Faro, for a price of 10€ for the day and 18€ for the weekend.
