John Rodgerson, CEO of the airline, reveals in the Publituris interview that Azul is already the largest carrier in Brazil and is committed to also expanding its network in Europe to balance the operation with the US.

In an interview with Publituris, he talks about the importance of the Portuguese market and the Lisbon route, where Azul has two daily flights, but which can be reinforced in the summer, taking into account the high demand, as tourists Brazilians look to the Portuguese capital as “the new Miami”, which everyone wants to visit.

More difficult seems to be the return to Porto, where the carrier flew before the pandemic, with John Rodgerson revealing that Azul is satisfied with the partnership it maintains with TAP and that, therefore, it prefers to concentrate the operation in the Portuguese capital.
