Five mainland districts will be under a yellow weather warning today due to the forecast of heavy showers, occasional hail, and thunderstorms, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).

The districts of Viseu, Castelo Branco, Guarda, Aveiro and Coimbra will be under a yellow warning between 15:00 and 21:00 today.
The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities dependent on the weather situation.
