This initiative will target vehicles under the TVDE regime and taxis, but also all heavy passenger vehicles (namely those related to tourist entertainment or for children and young people up to 16 years of age).

According to the GNR, this inspection action aims to "promote increased road safety, improved working conditions and the promotion of fair competition in the transport sector, throughout the mainland national territory".
