The individual was responsible for nearly 90% of complaints made about the airport in 2022, clocking in at an incredible 64 complaints per day.

The number of noise complaints due to aircraft rose to over 26,000 last year, up 13,000 from 2021, according to new figures released by the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA).

Despite these figures being heavily skewed by one individual, the number of complaints made by others also rose significantly.

The new North Runway was opened at the airport in August of last year, with complaints spiking shortly afterwards.
