According to data released by the railway operator, out of 252 scheduled trains, 194 were carried out and 58 were cancelled. In the long-haul service, the 12 trains that were scheduled were carried out, while in the regional service, 27 trains were cancelled out of a total of 73.

In urban Lisbon, there were 22 cancellations out of 113 scheduled and in Porto, nine trains out of 54 planned were cancelled.

CP has on its 'site' an alert to passengers for disturbances in schedules until the 21st of February.

"Due to strikes, convened by the National Union of Drivers of the Portuguese Railways (SMAQ), the National Union of Railway Sector Workers (SNTSF) and the Itinerant Commercial Revision Railway Union (SFRCI), there will be severe disturbances in the schedule of trains, nationally, in the period between 00:00 on February 8, 2023, and 24:00 on February 21, 2023".
