Friday - Remaining dry with cloudy skies into the evening. Temperatures to be 5 to 8 degrees with light to moderate southwest winds. Feeling fresh along Atlantic coasts.


Saturday (day) - Most areas will be dry to start with but a band of rain accompanied with moderate to fresh southwest winds will move in from the Atlantic through the morning. The north and west will brighten up during the afternoon as the rain moves southeastwards across the country, becoming light and patchy. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees, but turning colder as rain clears with light northwest winds following.


Saturday (night) - Expect widespread hard frost and ice patches due to the cold clear skies. Temperatures widely dropping to 0 and -3 degrees but general weather conditions remain calm.


Sunday (day) - A cold start with frost and ice and clear skies of sunshine. Cloud will increase later in the west but it will largely stay dry. Afternoon highs of 5 to 9 degrees, coldest in the north with light southerly winds.


Sunday (night) - Cloud and milder air will spread from the west on Sunday night bringing patchy drizzle. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, coldest in the east early on with a touch of frost.
