Between July and September, according to the EU statistical service, all Member States registered accelerations in the indicator, the biggest year-on-year increases in the hourly cost of labour were registered in Bulgaria (16.2%), Hungary, and Lithuania (14.0% each).
Poland (13.3%) Romania (10.9%) and Greece (10.0%) followed, with double-digit increases.

In Portugal, the hourly cost of labour increased, in the
third quarter, by 4.2%, compared to the same period in 2021.
