The police state that three of the individuals in question were passengers on flights from Latin America and concealed the drug, in various ways, on their bodies. The other two detainees were the recipients of the drug.

With the arrests, carried out during different PJ operations, more than 37,000 individual doses of cocaine were seized.

One Portuguese and four foreigners aged 23, 26, 30, 42, and 43 years old, have already been present in court.

The investigations continue.
