According to the DGS daily report, 603,425 elderly people over the age of 80, representing 91 percent of this age group, have already taken the booster dose of immunisation against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

This dose of the vaccine has also been administered to 897,156 elderly persons aged between 70 and 79 years (93 percent), to 1,064,159 between 60 and 69 years (85 percent) and to 864,958 persons in the group between 50 and 59 years (61 percent).

With primary vaccination complete against Covid-19 are now 8,769,011 people, 3,043 of whom were vaccinated on Wednesday, and 300,949 children have already received the first dose of the vaccine.

According to DGS data, more than 2.5 million people are also vaccinated against seasonal flu.
