In a statement, the association indicated that “in relation to the previous quarter and the same quarter of the previous year, in the 1st quarter of 2022 the PMVP [average selling price to the public] of 95 gasoline was higher by 12.4 c/l [cents/litre] (+7.3%) and by 32.7 c/l (+21.8%), that of diesel for road use by 17.6 c/l (+11.6%) and by 37.2 c/l ( +28.1%), and that of LPG Auto by 3.1 c/l (+3.8%) and by 17.7 c/l (+26.3%)”.

According to the association, “the rise in the PMVP of gasoline 95 in the 1st quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter was mainly due to the rise in the price of 11.4 c/l”, with “a decrease in the extra cost of the incorporation of biofuel in 1.0 c/l”.

On the other hand, “Storage, Distribution and Marketing (ADC) costs remained practically the same, registering an increase of 0.3 c/l”.
