CEO and managing director, Wesley Seare has been in recruitment for 25 years, having started successful recruitment companies HGV Drivers and Talent Hire in the UK. He told The Portugal News that “Last year, I was in Vilamoura and I got speaking to a lot of people and I explained what we did and they said they could do with that here.”

“We felt that there is a gap in the market and we have the expertise to support the community’s recruitment needs, so after many visits to Portugal, we took the plunge and opened our office in January, with a view to be ready for when the season starts.”

Wesley went on to add that “In the UK, we set up HGV in 2017 and we now have four offices and 17 members of staff and roughly 350 temp workers working for us so we have a wealth of experience and a team in the Algarve office who also have lots of experience and speak Portuguese. In terms of additional support, we will be going out to the Algarve to support the team as much as possible.”

When it comes to the future, plans of expansion are on the map, with the CEO explaining that “At the moment our focus is on the Algarve but we are starting to talk to companies in Lisbon as well. Our main focus will be to expand in Portugal as ideally, we would like two or three offices and then to focus on Spain next year.”
