The Catalan government has reminded public swimming pools that they can’t stop women from going topless in their pools.

The right to swim topless has been within law since 2020 but public pools kept turning women away who tried. Now, town halls have received a letter from the regional government reminding them swimmers of any sex reserve the right to go topless.
