The Government has authorised funding of up to 9.25 million euros, between 2023 and 2027, for the Portuguese Space Agency (PT Space), in accordance with a resolution by the Council of Ministers.

The resolution stipulates that funding is supported by “part of the net results of the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) for the years 2021 to 2025”.
The funds will be transferred annually to the budget of PT Space, created in 2019, and, according to the diploma, "may be added to the balance calculated in the previous year".
