Lisbon: The rain is to ease in the capital by the weekend with hazy high cloud and sunshine forecast for both days and highs of 20 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud cover and prolonged sunny spells are expected. Temperatures are to slowly start to fall again from Tuesday down to highs of 17 degrees.

The north: A dry weekend is predicted with hazy high cloud on Saturday and highs of 20 degrees. On Sunday it will be feeling warmer still with highs of 22 degrees and intermittent sunshine and cloud. The following week is to remain mild with average highs of 20 degrees and cool nights with average lows of 7 degrees.

The centre: Hazy high cloud is forecast for the weekend with average highs of 20 degrees and nightly lows of 8 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud cover and sunny spells are expected with maximum temperatures falling to highs of 15 degrees by Wednesday when a chance of rain is to return again.

The south: Mild spring-like weather returns to the south this weekend with highs of 22 degrees on Saturday and 21 degrees on Sunday and hazy high cloud. The warm weather is to continue the following week with temperatures averaging highs of 20 degrees with sunny spells and intermittent cloud cover.

Madeira: Temperatures are to average highs of 24 degrees over the weekend with intermittent cloud cover and no chance of rain. From Tuesday the temperatures are to drop to average highs of 22 degrees with lows of 16 degrees.

The Azores: Rain is forecast to continue throughout the weekend although there will be a chance of some sunny spells on Sunday when temperatures are to peak at 18 degrees. Monday is to be mainly dry but from Tuesday the rain is set to return.
