According to Publituris, the future Vila Galé Coruripe Alagoas - Resort Hotel, Beach & Spa, will include two components: one with the Collection Sub-Brand, with 114 rooms, in an investment of around R$80 million; and the other, an aparthotel with 252 apartments, which represents a funding of R$120 million. This beachside unit will also contain five restaurants, Club Nep with a water park, slide, trampolines and children’s playground, a convention center and Satsanga spa.

The approval of the projects is set for January 2025, and the first stage of construction is expected to be finalised in May 2026, as indicated in a press release by the company.

The term of commitment which allowed this project to forward was signed on March 2, by the president of Vila Galé, Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, and local authorities, including the Governor of the State of Alagoas, Paulo Dantas, and the mayor of Coruripe, Marcelo Beltrão.

“We intend to build another hotel in the State of Alagoas, but in a completely different region. The Vila Galé Alagoas is located 40 kilometers north of Maceió and now we are going to have a project 50 kilometers south of Maceió. The beach is different, the region is different, but everything is stunning nonetheless”, explained Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, who added “we make a huge commitment to authenticity. We want to highlight the vast culture Brazil has to offer”.

Vila Galé currently has 10 units in Brazil, and two more projects underway: Vila Galé Sunset Cumbuco, in Ceará, scheduled to open at the end of 2024; and the Vila Galé Ouro Preto, in Cachoeira do Campo, Minas Gerais, which is expected to open in May 2025.

Regarding the Minas Gerais project, the group is creating a huge country resort, that aims to recover the historic space where Portugal’s first cavalry regiment operated in Brazil, in 1775, which later became the Colégio Salesiano Dom Bosco.

Vila Galé also has plans for the historic center of São Luís do Maranhão, Inhotim (Brumadinho) and Belém do Pará.
