According to Publituris, from 23 May, Porto will receive a second daily flight from United Airlines, the North American airline revealed today.

The second flight between New York/Newark and Porto will be carried out using a Boeing 757-200, revealing that United has “more flights to Portugal than all American airlines combined”, being the “only North American company to fly to Porto”.

This announcement to reinforce operations to Porto is part of an increase in routes and frequencies by United. Thus, the company will have new direct flights between New York/Newark-Marrakech (Morocco); Tokyo/Narita-Cebu, Philippines and Houston-Medellín, Colombia.

United will also increase flights to destinations such as Hong Kong, Seoul (South Korea), adding four weekly flights between Los Angeles and Shanghai, as the Chinese and US governments recently agreed to increase flights between the two countries.
