Brazilian rapper Teto will perform on the first day of the festival, Slow J will present himself to the public on the second day, while Mariza will close the last day, according to promoters Domingo no Mundo and Music Mov.

“After two editions of absolute success (…), the riverside area of Portimão will once again be the epicenter of three intense days of musical celebration and great environmental awareness and the promotion of sustainability through culture and music”, said the organisation.

The location of the festival, in the riverside area of Portimão, is another of the points highlighted by the organizers to promote the event, classifying the area as “a favourite holiday destination” in the Algarve, in the middle of the peak tourism season in the region.

“The Mar Me Quer Festival has a true commitment between music and sustainability, being an example of how music and the environment can coexist in harmony. The festival not only celebrates musical diversity but also emphasizes the importance of local development and cultural decentralization, promoting the Algarve as a center of innovation and environmental commitment”, stated the organisation.

“Mar Me Quer estimates an economic impact resulting from the three days of the Festival for 2024 of around 3,000,000 euros, including accommodation and restaurant revenue for the Algarve region, with an estimate of thirty-six thousand overnight stays from 08 to August 10th”, the organization further estimated.

Interested parties can now purchase tickets, with daily tickets (15 euros), Family Packs (40 euros) and passes for two (25 euros) and three days (35 euros) available.
