The unions have also called for a total strike on July 30th and 31st and August 5th and 6th, in addition to stopping overtime work and public holidays.

In the note, signed by the unions of Merchant Marine Workers, Travel Agencies, Forwarding and Fishing (Simamevip), Aviation and Airport Workers (Sitava), Airport Handling Technicians (STHA) and by the Democratic Union of Airport Workers and Aviation (Sindav), the union structures detailed that the strike "for all overtime work" will take place from today, while the strike "at work on a public holiday that is a normal working day" will start on August 1st, in both cases indefinitely.

According to the unions, despite the "availability shown" by the four unions, Portway/Vinci "understood not to pursue a path of dialogue, causing a situation of conflict" and leading to the presentation, today, of the strike notice, "for decent work with rights” in response to what they classify as an "attack" by the company.
