There will be various craft stalls, food, drinks, and raffle and a special performance for The Rockhopper band at 4pm. It is important to note that there will be an Alerta stall to leave 50ml water bottles, energy bars and medical donations.

Alerta was “founded following the extensive fires in 2016, the association’s function is to support the firefighters and provide information to the local community living and working in the Algarve and Lower Alentejo regions of Portugal.”

On Saturday the 23rd of September at 1pm The Rockhopper and The Buzz will perform together as The BuzzHoppers to raise funds for Tiny Shelter and Alerta at Victoria’s Silves, in front of Poço Barreto train station. Associação Tiny Shelter is a small, donation-based animal shelter run by Isabel Searle in the Algarve, Isabel has stood for sustainable animal welfare with her volunteers for decades and fights tirelessly to improve the situation of as many animals as possible in Portugal. Tiny Shelter is where we help as many rescued dogs as possible with care, neutering and rehoming.

The Rockhopper: Formed in 2019 by Dave Currah (Vocals & Guitar), Tim Jackman (Lead Guitar), Roy West (Bass) and Stick (Drums), RockHopper has become a project to deliver Classic Rock songs from across the decades in a fun and entertaining way.

The Buzz: The Buzz, a new band that play live popular music from 1980's to 2000's in Central Algarve. The band features the vocal talents of Zoe Page, backed by Gary Collins on Guitar, Alan Little on Bass, Gary Bristow on Drums and Rob Lane on Keyboards.
