Ricardo Martinho announced the creation of the innovation and technology center, during the Coimbra Invest Summit, where that company and its subsidiary Softinsa also signed a protocol with the University of Coimbra and the Chamber of Coimbra for the elaboration of an integrated development program for the region.

“The ambition is great and what we want is to quickly start working on this project and for it to be completed as quickly as possible”, the president of IBM Portugal told Lusa.

Ricardo Martinho explained that the center should start, in temporary facilities, in 2023 and that it should be operational in 2024.
