Mercadona has announced that it will open its new Guarda supermarket on May 16, at 9am, in Largo de São Miguel. This is the first of 11 that the company plans to open in 2024.

"With this opening, Mercadona arrives in a new city and a new district (...). This new store will generate around 75 new, stable, and quality jobs, with open-ended contracts from the first day, contributing to the creation of local jobs".
"The opening of this supermarket, the first of 11 that the company plans to open in 2024, also reflects the continuity of the company's expansion plan in Portugal", concludes the brand in a report by NM.
