The proposal has been delivered to the parliament and intends to extend the validity of the current law, which imposes the mandatory use of masks in public spaces, with fines between €100 and €500 for breaking the law.
The previous law has been in force since 28 October and was valid for 70 days, ending on 5 January.
In other words, for this law to remain in force it will have to be approved in the last plenary session of the year on 22 December.
The diploma - which the PSD now requests to remain in force for another three months in the same terms - determines that the use of a mask (which cannot be replaced by a visor) is mandatory for those over ten years of age for access, circulation or permanence in public spaces and roads "whenever the physical distance recommended by health authorities proves impractical".
This obligation may be waived “in relation to people who are part of the same household, when they are not in the proximity of third parties” or by submitting a medical certificate of multipurpose disability or medical declaration attesting that the clinical condition or cognitive impairment does allow the use of masks.
It is also not mandatory to wear a mask when "it is incompatible with the nature of the activities that people are carrying out".

Surely what is meant here is "that the clinical condition etc. does NOT allow..."

Ridiculous! There is no scientific evidence that shows mask work. In fact, a recent Danish study suggests that it is simply a placebo at best. Given the fact that the general public does not know how to wear them and rarely wash or replace them, they are nothing but a cesspool of bacteria and germs, at best! Politicians need to focus on the Economy, creating jobs, lure investments, etc... and stop imposing restrictions and taking away our liberties!

Government mandate for Mask saying it would STOP this virus. That is what they want you to believe but it is Fake news HOAX to allow government feelings to shut down the economy and people enjoyment. You cannot stop this virus with Mask or home protective custody. In Calif they tried it and it failed but do they care NO destroy more Businesses until it works.
Just look at Calif in USA had home protective custody and shut down business and stop church worship was Unconstitutional but Secular government wants to destroy Christianity. Did it work after 11 months NO, It did increase Totalitarian Government employees power to dictate orders and rules. Since Calif still has this virus after 11 months. State employees decide your freedom and force you to do unhealthy behavior both physically and emotionally and to destroy your spirit feelings.
To prove this shut down of Businesses and life does not work. In Calif people are getting this virus in Jail. Government has absolute control of people in Jail therefore you would THINK being is a Calif jail would make you safe from virus. HOW can you get the virus under state absolute control. Calif Marxist Democrats solution was to let criminal out of jail. Being in sun light and doing criminal activities NO virus.
Mask makes needless fear waste of money and hurts social order in life but created by Government. Let people decide NOT government. With vaccine why do we need mask. If people had this virus why do they need mask?. It is irrational base on fake news fears. to make you conform to rules government creates from nothing. Let people decide their future.
