The festival opens with a banger on the 10th of August when David Carreira brings his Tour 2023 to Olhão. The famous Portuguese artist who last year celebrated a decade of his career will be performing some of his more recent songs, like “Vamos com Tudo,” “Festa” and “Saturno,” along with his biggest hits.

On August 11th, the Jardim Pescador Olhanense hosts a tribute show to Tina Turner, performed by Sónia Costa and her powerful voice, keeping the spirit of the recently passed rock queen’s music alive.

On the 12th, halfway through the festival, the headline act is Bárbara Bandeira, who has conquered the charts with her song “Como Tu” and has risen the ranks of national pop, having been the most listened to Portuguese female artist in the country last year.


On August 13th, Wet Bed Gang take the stage. The Portuguese rap group, composed of four Portuguese rappers and singers with the stage names Gson, Zara G, Kroa and Zizzy Jr., have gained national notoriety from songs such as “Não Tens Visto,” “Não Sinto” and “Devia Ir.”

The golden key that closes the 35º edition of the Seafood Festival is in the hands of Vitor Klay, on August 14th. After performing in Sol da Caparica, the Brazilian singer-songwriter heads South to Olhão. The vocalist on O Sol will grace the city with some of their biggest hits, ranging genres from Brazilian gospel to pop.

Organised by the Fesnima municipal company, the Seafood Festival is one of the main attractions Olhão and the Algarve have to offer. Locals and tourists alike can attend and taste seafood prepared on the spot by Olhão’s fishing community, with the marvellous sights of the Ria Formosa and the music of this all-star roster, that draw in artists from all over to enjoy the Pombaline city.
