In the case of the islands of the Central group (Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, Graciosa and Faial) the yellow warning, due to "sometimes heavy precipitation", has been active since 08:37 local time today (09:37 in Lisbon) and will continue until 2pm on Saturday.

In a statement, IPMA also informs that the islands of São Miguel and Santa Maria (Eastern group) will be under a yellow warning, taking into account forecasts of "sometimes heavy precipitation", between 05:00 local time and 20:00 on Sunday.

For the Western group (Flores and Corvo), the IPMA issued a yellow warning, due to forecasts of "sea agitation, waves from the northwest (NW), passing to the north (N)", valid between 5pm local time on Saturday and 5am on Saturday.
